During times of disaster, we match volunteers with response agencies or community organisations.
Things to know about registering with Emergency Volunteering:
We match and refer volunteers to disaster and emergency management agencies, including all levels of government, charitable organisations and community groups.
Your organisation must coordinate the volunteer opportunity, provide orientation and other relevant training.
Emergency volunteers have varying levels of skills, experience, and flexibility in terms of location and availability.
Responding to an emergency is complex and requires a high level of coordination.
Emergency Volunteering CREW is an initiative of Volunteering Queensland, supported by VolunteeringACT and Volunteering Tasmania
We work with a number of agencies such as local government, Australian Red Cross, St Vincent de Paul Society, Lifeline and others.
